ELIGIBILITY
For eligibility to apply, what is the definition of Northern California?
How do we define emerging and mid-career artists?
What is “significant institutional support”?
Are previous awardees allowed to apply again, and do they get priority?
In the past year, you have awarded residencies to mid-career and established artists who have received substantial institutional support. Will you accept similar applications for the 2025 residency cycle?
We are a collective working with multi-generational artists, some very established and others early or mid-career. Will we qualify?
Does an artist applicant need to have a fiscal sponsor agreement in place to apply/be eligible?
If an individual artist is proposing a project that will include collaborating artists, is that an “individual” application path or a “group/collaborative” application?

What are the specifications of the studio, and what kind of equipment is available throughout the studio?
What is your Sound, Lighting, Projectors + Lens & Lamp inventory?
What equipment could be left in place during the residency, and what would have to be moved in & out for others to use the space?
Can you describe the fabrication shop and how access to the shop is arranged if my project requires the use of the shop?
