Seattle-based sound artist and enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Kole Galbraith creates immersive works combining field recordings, found objects, electronics, and acoustic instruments. His music draws on Indigenous experience, Salish folklore, and environmental themes to explore our connection to the natural world.

Composer and sound artist Eric Theise presents a program of cartographic-inspired works, including the West Coast premiere of a collaboration with composer Shahrzad Talebi, performed by percussionists Suki O’Kane and Graham Viegut. The program also features A Synesthete’s Atlas with pianist Christopher Harto and a solo work for optical sound.

Unseen Stream is a 30-minute multimedia performance of a poem by Jaime Robles, featuring video imagery of water and improvised music by Nancy Beckman, Tom Bickley, and Jaime Robles. Combining voice, shakuhachi, electronics, percussion, and projected imagery, the work creates a contemplative meditation on water, memory, and place.
